We are pleased that you wish to join the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland (NPAM).  NPAM is the only organizations in Maryland devoted full time to advocating for and protecting your role as an NP.

Please review the descriptions below to select your membership type from the list presented at the bottom of the page.

Full Member:  Either (a) a Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice, or eligible for licensure to practice, in Maryland; or (b) a Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice at a health care facility in Maryland operated by the federal government or otherwise not subject to Maryland licensing requirements.  Your $190.00 annual dues cover membership for one year from the time you join.

Senior Member:  Persons who qualify  for full membership and have reached the age of 62. Your annual dues are $75.00.

Student Member:  Persons currently enrolled in a course of study that leads to licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maryland.  After filling out the application, proof of student status (faculty letter, sopy of your schedule, etc) must be faxed (410-772-7915)  or emailed  ( to the NPAM office before your membership will become active. Student membership is not intended for employed, licensed and certified nurse practitioners who are enrolled in a program of study leading to a PhD or DNP degree.The annual dues are $75.00.

Special New Graduate -- Limited Offer:  Nurse practitioners who are within 6 months after graduation from their NP programs are eligible to join NPAM for one year at the reduced rate of  $100.00.  NPs are required to submit documentation fo their graduation date (either diploma or official letter from university are accepted) before their memberships can become active.  This is a limited opportunity that is offered as part of a trial program.  The annual dues are $100.00.  After one year at this rate, you would renew as a Full Member

Affiliate Member:  Person or organizations interested in fostering the mission of NPAM, including non-nurse practitioners. Affiliate membership must be approved by the Board of Directors.  Annual dues are $100.00.
