This year we are offering an optional 2  hour Mini Conference in the afternoon before our annual Spring Membership Meeting.  This activity is part of an 11 hour CE course offered by the University of Maryland.  Attendees will receive a link for the other 7 modules, all of which are done online and can be completes before this event.  With the completion of all modules,  attendees will receive a CE certificate for the total of 11 CE!


Our dinner and membership meeting  will feature Jamaal Stafford from the Law Firm of J.W. Stafford, LLC,, presenting "Defending Your Nurse License," and members of the Legislative Committee, who will provide the 2019 Legislative Update.   Some of you may remember Mr Stafford from his participation as a gold sponsor at the 2018 Fall CE Conference

This activity was planned in accordance with AANP CE Standards and Policies.   We have applied for a total of 2.0 CE for the evening portion of this activity.

Ticket A:  All day includes both the Afternoon Session  and Dinner Program  (see entire agenda below)  NPAM members $55/Non NPAM members $70*
Ticket B:  Afternoon Session only  (see Mini Conference below)   NPAM Members $10/Non Members $20
Ticket C:  Evening Dinner Program only  (see Dinner Meeting and Keynote below)  NPAM Members $45/Non Members $55 *

Mini Conference
4:00- 6:00 PM   APRN Preceptor Development Program: Precepting the APRN Student--Simulation session     

This hybrid program is designed for clinicians who have precepted, are currently precepting, or will precept advanced practice nursing (APRN) students in a variety of settings. It consists of seven online education modules  that are self paced andthis program's two-hour onsite simulation session. Course content focuses on preceptor roles and responsibilities, student learning styles, clinical teaching, critical thinking, facilitation, cultural awareness, and effective communication. This simulation session provides an opportunity for you to synthesize what you learned throughout the program and apply it in a simulated clinical environment.
